Holy Theophany Orthodox Church, a Mission of the OCA ~ A group of faithful gathered in a local Williams Bay bookstore in the Fall of 2007, moving to the local Elementary School, where services were held every other Sunday. On April 6, 2009, the Orthodox Community of Lake Geneva was granted Chapel Status under the patronage of the Feast of Holy Theophany by Archbishop Job of blessed memory. The Chapel was an outreach of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church in Milwaukee. Over time, membership has increased and is growing. With the grace of God on September 1, 2012 the community moved into its own permanent location. Since then, services are held every Sunday at 10:00am.
On April 1, 2021 we were elevated to mission status by His Eminence, Archbishop Paul. We are diverse community welcoming all who wish to worship in the Orthodox Christian tradition and share the mission of proclaiming the saving message of Jesus Christ. Services are in English.
