About Christ the King Lutheran Church
-
Christ the King Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2013. God has blessed Christ the King with strong people who are committed to their faith, to one another, and to people in need.
We worship Sunday mornings at 9:00am. After the service, there is always a time of coffee, snacks, and fellowship. A small group study is also available after service.
Our sanctuary is distinctive, beautiful, relaxing, and accessible. It is open visually to God’s beautiful creation outside, which is one of the blessings of Port Washington. Our Sunday service alternates each week between traditional and contemporary formats. We offer a quiet play area in our worship room for small children, and children grades K-5 are dismissed before the message to our children's church area to enjoy an age-appropriate curriculum. We invite older youth to lead or assist in worship, and the church is a founding member of the Port Washington-Saukville Ecumenical Youth Ministry cooperative.
We are active members in the Port Washington community, both as a community of faith and as individuals.
We welcome you to join us Sunday mornings!
