Changing Lives Assembly of God
What is this Church about?
Changing Lives Assembly of God is a Pentecostal church in Cudahy just minutes south of downtown Milwaukee. We seek to encounter a powerful and living God who transforms and changes lives. God is passionate about his children and seeks to have a relationship with us. Because of this we feel compelled to share God's love, freedom and power with the South Shore communities and beyond.
How do I fit in to this church?
Whether you are seeking God for the first time, revisiting Christianity or are a long time follower of Christ; you are welcome at Changing Lives Assembly of God. We are a real church comprised of real people who are passionate about pursuing relationship with God. None of us are perfect and you don't have to be either to visit with us. Come just as you are and continue your pursuit of God with us.
What is this church like and what does it have to offer me?
Seriously we have only the love of God, the freedom of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit to give you. Everything we are and everything that we can do comes from Them. All of our different ministries are built around this simple truth.
On Sunday mornings you will experience a powerful contemporary worship service coupled with real spiritual knowledge from the Word of God. The message is a to the point, illustrated and easy to engage in.
On Wednesday nights we have ministries for children, students and adutls. Children ages 3 to 5 attend Rainbows. Boys ages 5 to 12 participate in Royal Rangers (similar to Boy Scouts) and girls ages 5 to 12 participate in Girls Club (similar to Girl Scouts.) We also provide Nursery care for infants and toddlers. Students attend Crossover Student Ministries for a night of fun and spiritual guidance. Adults engage in an interactive Bible Study in a small group setting.
So what's next?
We would love for you to join us on Sunday morning at 10:15 am. If you want to contact us or have any questions, we would love to talk with you.
Mission Statement
Jesus clearly defined the mission for His church in the Bible. And since the Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:8 that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever”, that mission hasn’t changed over time.
Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-39 “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
He also said in Matthew 28: 19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you ...”
Therefore, we believe our mission must reflect the mission of Jesus. We strive to “Educate, equip and empower people of all ages to love God, love others and live life abundantly while experiencing the fullness of Jesus Christ flowing from them to other people of need.”
We believe all of us should be on a life long quest for being better educated in Gods words and ways, fully equipped for service in His plan, empowered by the Holy Spirit for showing God’s love and experiencing abundant living as we share with others the life changing power of faith in Jesus Christ.
Why not join us on our quest? If you seek Him first you will not want in life. Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
