Redemption Church has two weekend Community Gathering locations - one in the Deep Creek area of Chesapeake and one in Virginia Beach. We, as a church family, use this time to sing, listen, interact, share and give. Our gatherings aim to show the greatness of God’s love for us in Jesus. It is our prayer that each person who attends would see the beauty of the Gospel and worship our risen King Jesus. Our desire for these gatherings is that one would delight in the beauty of who God is for them in the person of Jesus so that the Spirit will empower them to live out the everyday rhythms of life with Gospel intentionality.

About Redemption Church
Redemption Church is a non-denominational church located in Chesapeake that desires to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to our surrounding communities. We are a church that focuses on the condition of the heart and not on external behavior. We repudiate external conformity to a set of standards that is not accompanied with a real heart change that has seen the beauty of the Gospel in the face of Jesus. These people are just good moral Pharisees (by the way, the Pharisees are the only people Jesus ever condemned in the Gospels).
We seek to show how the Gospel affects the whole person. When a person sees the beauty and greatness of who God is for them in Jesus, their affections and desires begin to change. They begin to obey not out of fear and pride but out of a sincere affection for the excellencies of the Gospel.
This heart transformation changes everything! It changes every relationship—with our spouse, children, neighbors, co-workers, and bosses. It changes the way we work; the way we view our hobbies; and even the way we view our food!
To truly experience the Gospel is the greatest joy man could ever know. After all it is returning to the way God created us, which is the greatest life man will ever know.
So come on out and be a part of this life-transforming, joy-filled journey to know the kindness of our God to us in Jesus.
