About Northside Christian Church
-
Pursue God. Love People. Transform the World.
The Northside vision statement is based on two important passages of scripture in the Bible. In Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus spoke of the two greatest commandments, “to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind” (Pursue God) and “to love your neighbor as yourself” (Love People). Then in Matthew 28:19 Jesus gave His disciples a great commission when He said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Transform the World).
The leaders of Northside encourage everyone in our church family to practice these Biblical principles with a commitment to worship, both in one’s personal life and together with others, community, by becoming involved in a Northside Community Group, and service, as we seek to share the life-changing love of Jesus with our world.
Therefore, as a congregation we are seeking to pursue God through worship, love people by building community, and transform the world with loving service. Pursue God, Love People, Transform the World!
In addition to this vision statement, Northside also lives by these core values.
