Our Mission, Vision, and Values
Our mission is God's mission.
The Book of Common Prayer (p855) reminds us that our mission is:
"to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ"
Here at Emmanuel, we sum up our approach to our mission
in just three words:
Spiritual
Inclusive
Engaged
We realise that to each person, those three words will mean different things;
therefore we encourage you to do what we do....start with them and explore, with us, what they might mean on the journey towards getting to know Jesus better and making Jesus better known
The way we work towards fulfilling our vision as we respond to God's mission is summed up in the words of Henri-Frédéric Amiel:
"Life is short. We don't have much time to gladden the hearts of those who walk this way with us.
So, be swift to love and make haste to be kind."
