Our goal is to be an authentic community of believers who are learning to love Jesus and love others more and more each day. Come as you are - Back Bay Christian Assembly is a friendly and informal church. There's no need to dress up, unless it makes you feel more comfortable.
We believe that the goal of the faith community is not to make people more religious; instead, we want to help people learn to love God more and therefore become more fully human. At Back Bay Christian Assembly, we believe that we are called to reach out to our neighbors. We want to do this both locally and globally, serving them in ways that make a difference.
About The Sacraments: We believe in partaking of the sacrament of Baptism in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit following a person's profession of faith in Christ. We believe in Communion, the receiving of the Lord's Supper (bread and grape juice representing the Body and Blood of Christ) as a remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross.
