Sunday morning worship
Sunday morning 10 am worship service is held at the North Building, 1325 Main St. St. Johnsbury
Children and Youth begin in the sanctuary and then leave for Christian Education classes following the Children's message.
Following the service, a time for fellowship and conversation is held in the Parlor.
2017 Christmas Services
December 25 - Christmas Day
Christmas Day Community Dinner will be offered beginning at 11:30 am. Come enjoy this free meal.
December 31 - First Sunday of Christmas
Ecumenical Worship Service will be held at Grace Methodist Church, Central St., St. Johnsbury at 10 am.
All are invited to worship together.
First Night North at St. Johnsbury will begin at 4 pm. Concert offerings at United Community Church begin at 5 pm.

Children and Youth Activities
Ministries
- Choir rehearses Sunday mornings at 9 am and after church on the second and fourth Sundays. All singers (high school and older) are welcome to join the choir. Come and sing praises to God!
Children's Choir meets Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 9:50 am. Students from kindergarten through eighth grade are welcome to come sing. Children's choir presents an anthem every 2 - 3 months.
United Community Handbell Ensemble (high school and older) rehearses Wednesdays at 6:00 pm at the South Building (1052 Main St, St. Johnsbury). The handbell ensemble provides music for worship every other month as well as music for community events, weddings and concerts.
Bells Angels rehearse Wednesdays at 4 pm at the South Building (1052 Main St. St. Johnsbury). Bells Angels are a high school handbell performance ensemble sponsored by St. Johnsbury Academy. All high-school aged musicians are welcome to participate in the ensemble. Bells Angels present a prelude and offertory twice a year (first Sunday in December, first Sunday in June).

Five for Five Offerings
Our Church's Wider Mission- Funds the work the UCC does in the Associations, Conferences, and in the national and global church. Funds are invested in programs, resources, and tools needed to keep local UCC churches strong, effective, and growing. It also helps pastoral placement and education for church leaders; worship materials and theological interpretation; resources and training for stewardship and fundraising.
One Great Hour of Sharing - Supports partners in countries with ministries that fund health, education and agricultural development, emergency relief, refugee ministries and both international and domestic disaster response, administered by Wider Church Ministries, Global Sharing of Resources.
Strengthen the Church - Supports church growth, pastoral and lay leadership development, youth and young adult ministries within conferences and administered by Local Church Ministries.
Neighbors in Need- One-third of this offering supports the Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM) and two-thirds is administered by Justice and Witness Ministries to support a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects through grants.
The Christmas Fund- Provides direct financial assistance to retired and active United Church of Christ authorized ministers and lay employees and their surviving spouses, including pension and health premium supplementation, emergency assistance, and Christmas thank-you checks
Church World Service
CWS kit items are collected throughout the year and assembled in April. United Community Church acts as the local depot for CWS kit collection. CWS picks up the boxed kits in early May.
The Blanket Plus program allows for Mother's and Father's Day gifts in memory and honor of special women and men.
Local outreach
Kingdom Community Services - sponsers the local food shelf and thrift store, Wednesday Community Lunch, Thanksgiving and Christmas Community Dinners
Community Connections - in partnership with NVRH, through the Interfaith Partners, to assist those in need.
