About Westside Community Church

We started in April 2000 with a small Bible study meeting in the home of the founding pastor, Joe Williams. We had our first public grand opening church service in April 2001 at Hornedo Middle School. On May 3, 2015, we moved to our current facility.

Westside Community Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching church that welcomes people of all ages, races and backgrounds. For more info on how we function, click here.We voluntarily affiliate with the Baptist General Convention of Texas, but are an independent purpose-driven church which also associates with other Bible-believing evangelical churches to share Jesus with the world.

At Westside Community Church, practical messages and contemporary music address the concerns of everyday life from God’s perspective.We call ourselves a Community church because we truly want to love and serve the entire community.
