About San Jose Parish

San Jose Parish is a diverse church family. We are a church with a great history, but an even brighter future as we seek to reach out through helping people become disciples of Jesus. We believe that our church is not just a place to go, but a people to join as a community. We welome you to San Jose Parish in Austin, Texas in Jesus' name.

We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is Sovereign and Faithful to fulfill everything is has promised in His Word. We believe that Jesus is God the Son. He was born of a virgin, was wholly God and wholly man, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven where He resides today. He will literally return to earth at a time of His choosing to Judge all mankind. We further believe that God the Holy Spirit is active in convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation, and is the Comforter and Guide Who lives in the heart of every believer.

About Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was resurrected from death, and ascended to heaven where he sits at the Father's right hand. We believe that Jesus will come again to claim his bride, the church. (John 3:16; Matthew 1:18; Romans 5:6-11; John 20:24-31)

About God's Solution: We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
