Sunday Morning Worship meets at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

Morning worship is led by a band and vocal team, while on varied Sundays combines with an energized choir or contemporary orchestra. We incorporate a blend of the newest songs of our day and timeless hymns of our faith. Dress is comfortable.

About First Baptist Church

Welcome to First Baptist Church Allen, a dynamic and growing fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ.

This year, our church has launched out on a spiritual growth journey under the banner of ACTS 2 Devotion.

The church described in Acts 2 was characterized by three key elements:

“So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:41-47, ESV)

Think what a local church would look like if its people were radically devoted to Christ, irrevocably committed to each other, and relentlessly dedicated to reaching those outside God's family with the gospel of Christ. That is what we mean by an “Acts 2 Church.”
