If you are visiting our area, already living here, or considering moving to our area, we hope that you will choose to join us for Bible study and worship. We are a simple New Testament congregation of the Lord's people of all ages and of many interests. We seek to worship after the pattern set forth in the Scriptures by following the example of the early church and authority of the Lord's apostles (Acts 2:42). Our worship consists of congregational a capella singing (Eph. 5:19), Bible preaching (2 Tim. 4:2), praying (1 Tim. 2:1), giving (1 Cor. 16:1,2), and partaking the Lord's Supper each week (1 Cor. 11:26).
You will also notice that only faithful Christian men lead the worship services. This is due to the fact that God has designed worship in such a way that women are not to exercise authority over men (1 Tim. 2:11-14). We are a congregation with no head but Christ, overseen by elders meeting Scriptural qualifications and served by deacons also meeting Scriptural qualifications who lead in many different works (1 Tim. 3).
