At Henry, we know that walking into a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. We really strive to be a church that meets people where they are, whether you've been following Jesus for many years or are just starting to investigate faith. Our hope is that you will discover Henry in Henry, South Dakota to be a place where you can find community, grow in your relationship with Jesus and discover the mission for your life.
We believe that God commands everyone everywhere to believe the gospel, turning to God in repentance and receiving the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the unbeliever will face judgment and eternal conscious punishment, while the believer will experience eternal blessedness and joy with the Lord, to the praise of His glorious grace.
About The Bible: The Bible is God's authoritative Word to all mankind. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant. It alone is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
About God's Solution: We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
