We value each of these passions highly because we are serious about learning to live passionately for and like Jesus.
These six passions are linked together like pearls in a necklace and all of them flow from the first, our passion for God.
Passion for God drives and inflames each of the others. We love God and therefore we love His word. We love to study it and seek to live by it in every aspect of life. It is the reason why we preach the Bible expositorily and why it is the backbone of every home-group.
Worship and prayer are not just passions or goals but they are the means, along with the word of God, to becoming what God calls us to be.
Our Passion for the gospel, people, and service are one. Because we love God we must love our neighbor as ourselves which means we must proclaim the good news of the gospel and serve them with sacrificial and tangible expressions of love, mercy, and justice.
