Service Times

Sunday Morning Worship 11:00 AM

Our style of worship is relaxed yet stays true to the tradition of the liturgical church. We have strong musical leadership that is contemporary in nature but we also enjoy singing the traditional hymns of the church from time to time.

The entirety of our worship is projected, so hymnals, bulletins and other worship materials are not needed. We hope you will come and join us for worship one Sunday morning at 11am and we hope your worship experience is uplifting and edifying.

About Crossroads Lutheran Church

  • Welcome to Crossroads Lutheran Church.

We are so glad God has led you to learn more about who we are and what ministries we feel God has called us to. We are a welcoming and loving church family that is passionate about our calling to share the love God has for God's people. We want you to know that there is a place or you here, and we would love to have you come and be a part of this amazing family of faith.

    What We Believe

Lutherans are Christians who accept the teachings of Martin Luther (1483 – 1546). Luther was a German theologian who realized that there were significant differences between what he read in the Bible and the practices of the Roman Catholic church at that time. On October 31, 1517, he posted a challenge on the door of Wittenberg University, titled “95 Theses” (to debate 95 theological issues). His hope was that the church would reform its practice and preaching to be more consistent with the Word of God as contained in the Bible.

What started as an academic debate escalated into a distinct separation between the Roman Catholic church of the time and those who accepted Luther’s suggested reforms. "Lutheran" became the name of the group that agreed with Luther’s convictions.

Today, nearly five centuries later, Lutherans still celebrate the Reformation on October 31 and still hold to the basic principles of Luther’s theological teachings, such as Grace alone, faith alone, Scripture alone. These comprise the very essence of Lutheranism:

We are saved by the grace of God alone -- not by anything we do; Our salvation is through faith alone -- a confident trust in God, who in Christ promises us forgiveness, life and salvation; and the Bible is the norm for faith and life -- the true standard by which teachings and doctrines are to be judged.

Other Information

  • Parking: As you arrive to Crossroads, you may notice two buildings on our church’s property. The Education and Administration Building (EAB) is located at 8511 Shelley Mullis Road. If you continue driving to the four-way stop sign, you will find the Worship and Outreach Center (WOC) located at the corner of Shelley Mullis and Henry Harris Roads. In-between these two buildings, you’ll find a great space for prayer and meditation, the Robert A. Blake prayer garden with the stations of the cross (pictured on the home page). Feel free to park at either building’s parking lot. We do our best to identify the building a ministry event will be held, however, know that most meetings and ministry happenings, other than worship and large gatherings, take place in the EAB.
  • Dress Code: We want you and your family to be as comfortable as possible as you worship God here at Crossroads. Whether that means dress clothes or shorts and flip-flops for you, please come as you are. Worship usually lasts between 60-75 minutes and is typically followed by a time of snacks, coffee and fellowship in our gathering space.
