At Washington Church of Christ, our Christian ministry provides opportunities to build strong relationships with people who are at a similar life point. Our congregation come from many different walks of life, each with a unique personal story. Together we are a family dedicated to making an impact through strong relationships and community service. We are here to help anybody seeking to answer the "why?" questions of life. We are passionate about friendships and doing good in our community in Washington in Pennsylvania.
We believe that people are the supreme object of God's creation with infinite value and worth. Every stage and expression of human life is precious to God, especially pre-born babies, the aged, and the physically and cognitively challenged. Every person is of inestimable worth to God regardless of race, age, gender, economic status, sexual desire, or citizenship, and is to be valued, honored, and loved by His people. It is our joy to no longer consider others according to the flesh but rather according to the spirit. The Kingdom of God is a diverse family made up of people from every race, ethnicity, language, and geo-political background.
About Death: We believe that death seals the eternal destiny of each person. The saved will inherit eternal life whereas the unsaved will be eternally separated from God. (Romans 8:9-14; Daniel 12:2; John 6:47)
About The Scripture: The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21
