About UUs of the Cumberland Valley

UUs of the Cumberland Valley is a multigenerational church that exists to help people find and follow God. We seek to provide a safe place for people of all walks of life to experience true life-change through authentic, biblical community with God. Regardless of your story, your doubts, or your struggles,you are welcome at UUs of the Cumberland Valley in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. So come as you are. We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, and through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a distinct experience from salvation, believers are empowered for Christian service, and gifted for this service.

We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image, but they sinned through the temptation of Satan, corrupting that image. As a result, all humanity is alienated from God and under His wrath and can be rescued, reconciled, and restored only through God's gracious work in Jesus Christ.

About Mankind: We believe that mankind was originally created good but fell into a state of sin through disobedience. We inherit a sinful nature from Adam and we commit individual sins. This sin separates us from God and makes it impossible for us to earn salvation by works.

About Generosity: Give it away - You can give without living, but you can't love without giving. 'The son of God... loved me and gave himself for me.' - Galatians 2:20
