At Salem UB Church, Chambersburg we believe thatGod exists and has revealed Himself to mankind. We believe that our conscience and actions must be directed by and submitted to God's truth. This truth comes to us in many ways but has particularly been given in the form of the special and unique revelation of the Bible. We invite you to join us at Salem UB Church. We believe that the work of Christ on the cross for sin warrants and impels a universal offering of the gospel to all persons, so that to every person it may be truly said, "God gave his only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him might not perish but have eternal life." Those whom God calls will hear His voice and follow Him. Whoever comes by the drawing of God through the invoking of the Holy Spirit Jesus Christ will not cast out
About The Church: We believe that the church is the body and bride of Christ and consists of Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)
About Salvation: We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God; that it was purchased by Christ on the cross; that it is received through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual; and that salvation results in righteous living, good works and biblically informed actions to bring about godly justice wherever we live.
