About First United Methodist Church
-
Welcome everyone,
The First United Methodist Church would like to extend an invitation to all that have an interest or need for a spiritual fulfillment from Our Lord and Savior. Our church has been open to the public for worship services since 1915 in the community of Kulpmont, PA. There are still symbolic features within the church still utilized today such as the bell tower. The children of the congregation are excited when asked to participate in the ringing of the bell to start Sunday service.
Our mission is to provide a positive, comforting, and heart warming place to spread to word of the Lord. We have a very dedicated and compassionate congregation. We are a loving church family that would love to see grow.
What to expect
Our church is close knit and personal. We like to be social and fellowship together. We recommend and look forward to having children attend no matter what age all are welcome. Sunday services begin at 11am. Please come to experience our beautiful house of God. We encourage anyone interested to visit and we are always happy to have new members join.
Our gifts
We participate in a variety of outreach programs within our surrounding communities. We support the Mount Carmel Food Pantry, provide winter wear and school supplies to local school students, and provide holiday food baskets to families in need to name a few.
