At Crafton United Presbyterian, our Christian ministry provides opportunities to build strong relationships with people who are at a similar life point. Our congregation come from many different walks of life, each with a unique personal story. Together we are a family dedicated to making an impact through strong relationships and community service. We are here to help anybody seeking to answer the "why?" questions of life. We are passionate about friendships and doing good in our community in Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
Here at Crafton United Presbyterian, we believe that good works constitute indispensable evidence of saving grace. Living as salt in a world that is decaying and light in a world that is dark, believers should neither withdraw into seclusion from the world, nor become indistinguishable from it: rather, we are to do good to the city, for all the glory and honor of the nations is to be offered up to the living God. Recognizing whose created order this is, and because we are citizens of God's kingdom, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, doing good to all, especially to those who belong to the household of God.
About The Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is to be worshiped and glorified with the Father and the Son. He regenerates the sinner's heart, indwells every Christian, convicts of sin, helps us in our weakness, and empowers us to live a fruitful Christian life.
About The Scripture: The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21
