At CHRIST EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, our Christian ministry provides opportunities to build strong relationships with people who are at a similar life point. Our congregation come from many different walks of life, each with a unique personal story. Together we are a family dedicated to making an impact through strong relationships and community service. We are here to help anybody seeking to answer the "why?" questions of life. We are passionate about friendships and doing good in our community in Pitcairn in Pennsylvania.
We believe that the kingdom of God, already present but not fully realized, is the exercise of God's sovereignty in the world toward the eventual redemption of all creation. The kingdom of God is an invasive power that plunders Satan's dark kingdom and regenerates and renovates through repentance and faith the lives of individuals rescued from that kingdom. It therefore inevitably establishes a new community of human life together under God.
About Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was resurrected from death, and ascended to heaven where he sits at the Father's right hand. We believe that Jesus will come again to claim his bride, the church. (John 3:16; Matthew 1:18; Romans 5:6-11; John 20:24-31)
