About CC Online Church
You & I Are Called To Be The ChurchCC Online Church is a real church. We are not governed by a Church body. The Bible is our only govern. We are against any form of business structure or authoritative figures to a Church. The church is a family. Christ is the Church head. The Bible is the Church manual. Pastor David is simply the church father and pastor. His wife Ranae is the church mother. You, the church website visitors are the church children. That is the only church structure of CC Online Church. People simply need to know Jesus loves them. They do not need to be told what to do. They just need love and support.
We love the Lord and are consumed by the fire of His calling for us to share the word of God. We are called to inspire the passion for our brothers and sisters to praise, celebrate, and explore a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Christian Contemporary Online Church (CCOC) has similar elements as other Christian churches, except our building that houses the Church is your home & this website. Join us anytime when you feel like going to church. Visit every Sunday for our weekly gathering of church members. Our service is presented in text, video, and song format, and lasts about an hour or more. Each week we use different music styles & genres, various bible versions, with a variety of prayers & bible readings.
Our Foundation Is The Same As The First Christian Church
We Are "Followers of the Way"
During the early years of the Church, no New Testament book was written. Paul only began writing about 20 years later, and the Gospels only started to appear about 40 years after Jesus ascended into heaven. The book of Acts simply narrates vital moments during this early period. Near the end of the ministry of Jesus, many had abandoned him. Yet some women, unnamed disciples, and 12 disciples stuck with him. On the night of his betrayal, even his disciples fled from him. Peter himself denied the Lord 3 times.
Most of his disciples returned. The risen Lord Jesus appeared to them in Acts 1:3. At this time, there were over 500 disciples (1 Cor 15:6). When Jesus appeared, He taught the disciples for 40 days. That was the beginning of the Christian Church (Acts 1:3). The early Christian community is called the “Church.” On the 43rd day, Jesus ascended into heaven. One week later, Pentecost came, and 120 disciples devoted themselves to prayer and appointed Matthias the 12th apostle to replace Judas, who betrayed Jesus. These disciples were first called “Christians at Antioch.” Known by a variety of names, including “Followers of the Way.”
CC Online Church is officially recognized as non-denominational. However, we consider our Christian denomination branch to be “Followers of the Way”. We are lead only by Jesus, the Head of the Church, and the bible is our blueprint. As your pastor, I read the King James version, the earliest English written version of the bible. For our weekly church services, I incorporate the most used Christian bibles.
We Believe In The Father, Son, And The Holy Spirit
The first original Christian Church was the home due to dangerous times (sounds like today’s COVID-19 danger). The idea of a Sunday service at the local church building was not even an idea yet. We believe Church still is the home and should be at peace. CC Online Church was founded by the Holy Spirit for the Church to be Your Home. This website is simply a companion to your bible, prayer, and the Holy Spirit as your home church guide. Remember, Jesus is the Head of your Home Church.
The Book of Acts (2:44-47) describes the life of the first Christian Church community this way: “All who believed were together and shared all things in common, sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, as any had need. And day by day attending the temple together, breaking bread in their homes, they partook of food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day, those who were being saved.”
CC Online Church is a community of all people who profess faith in Jesus Christ. No matter if you are alone or gathered in His name. Whether you are home alone or with friends and family, you and I are the Church.
The Church is a living body that God designed for your good and His glory. According to Scripture, the Church has a three-fold purpose: the exaltation of God, the edification of the saints, and the evangelization of the world. The mission of the church is the mission of Christ because the Church is Christ. At its core, the Church is the global community of Christ-followers who believe in the divinity and resurrection of Jesus Christ and are commissioned to proclaim the good news of His salvation to the world. The Church transcends age, gender, race, geography, and socioeconomic lines.
We live our lives for the glory and purpose of God rather than our own pleasure or advancement.
We only experience victory in Christ; not from things of this world.
We never pass a personal vision on to others; only the vision of God.
We are not more concerned about our legacy than that of Jesus Christ.
We make our decisions with great care because each choice matters to God.
We refuse to go with the flow – we choose to go with God.
We come together to pursue an intimate relationship with God and experience His presence.
We live to only love, obey, and serve God.
We are not looking for applause or adoration.
We cannot earn our way into God’s eternal presence, but our wise choices and good deeds demonstrate our commitment and transformation when we accept Jesus as our Savior.
We want to deepen our relationship with God and surrender all control to Him. Life on earth is all about life after earth, and we need to live accordingly.
Statement Of Faith
We Are Non-Denominational
We are not opposed to denominations but have chosen to work non-denominationally so that through the love of God we can serve the entire body of Christ. We believe that the only true basis of Christian Fellowship is His Agape Love, which is greater than any differences we may have. (I Corinthians 12-13)
We Believe In One God
Eternally existing in three Persons: FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT. Equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all and governs all. (I John 5:7)
God the Father
We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:48; Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3; Nehemiah 9:6; Hebrews 1:2-3; Psalm 103:19; Ephesians 1:11; 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 90:2).
God the Son…
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in His life, who made atonement for the sin of the world by His shed blood and death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, and His high priestly intercession for His people. We believe in His personal, visible and triumphant return to the world according to His promise. (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:14; Hebrews 10:9; John 1:29; I John 2:1-2; John 14:3; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; Acts 1:11).
God the Holy Spirit…
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convict the world of sin, to convince the world of righteousness, of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower those who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit. (John 15:26, 16:8-11; Romans 6:3-6; I Corinthians 12:13; II Thessalonians 2:13; I Peter 1:1-3).
The Bible
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments fully inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21; Acts 17:11; Isaiah 8:20).
Children of God
We believe that we are all God’s children and were created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred, not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are sinners by nature and by choice. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting, conscious punishment of the lost (Genesis 1:27, 2:15-17; Romans 3:10-12, 23; Matthew 25:46).
Salvation
We believe that “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). We believe that all who receive, by faith, Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are born again of the Holy Spirit and, therefore, become children of God. We believe that justification means that a person is declared righteous in the sight of God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (John 1:12; Romans 3:21-26; Ephesians 1:13, 2:8-10).
The Church
We believe in the Church. A living, spiritual body in which Christ is the Head and of which all believers in Jesus are members. We believe the Church is not confined to the buildings we build. We believe that those confined at home are still in the Church. We believe the purpose of the church is to lead believers toward maturity through the Word, fellowship, prayer, and communion. Christ has also committed to the church the responsibility to proclaim to a lost world their need to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and to recognize Him has Lord. We believe that Jesus has committed to the local church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion, open to all believers, to be observed until He comes. (Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42; Romans 6:4; Acts 2:28; Matthew 28:19Luke 22:19; I Corinthians 11:24).
