Welcome to Trinity Church
"Trinity Church exists to joyfully exalt the Triune God, faithfully declare the Christ- centered word,
intentionally demonstrate Christian love, and zealously evangelize our community and world."
Trinity is a congregation of people energetically devoted to proclaiming and displaying the most relevant message of our time: the life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.
At Trinity . . . it’s all about the gospel.
Through collaboration with several existing Northwest congregations (including Grace Covenant Church of Wenatchee, WA, Living Water Community Church of Vancouver, WA, and Independent Bible Church of Port Angeles, WA), and our partnership with the Mennonite Brethren Pacific District and US Conferences, the community of Trinity Church formed in September 2010 and is currently meeting on Sunday mornings at 10:00am in Southeast Portland.
This is the schedule we followed:
Phase #1: Laying the Foundation
Completed Phase #1: establishing our Statement of Purpose, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Teaching Positions, and Leadership Structure.
Phase #2: Matching Ministries and Ministers
Completed Phase #2: determining our various ministries and the strategies to accomplish them.
Phase #3: Launching Trinity Church
In late August 2010 we transitioned into Phase #3: hosting three practice services on three consecutive Sundays (August 22nd, 29th, September 5th). These were followed by our first public service on September 12, 2010.
We would love you to drop-in on any of our meetings. You can be certain that we won’t embarrass you . . . but we will host you warmly.
