No matter what your story is, at Meadow Springs Community Church we believe that with God as the foundation, everybody can write a story of hope and success. Meet other believers from in and around Portland in Oregon and make friends so you can enjoy the journey together. They were happy to share their food and ate with joyful hearts." Acts 2:46
Webelieve that, inasmuch as Christ was given by the Father for us, and his obedience and punishment were accepted in place of our own, freely and not for anything in us, this justification is solely of free grace, in order that both the exact justice and the rich grace of God might be glorified in the justification of sinners. We believe that a zeal for personal and public obedience flows from this free justification.
About Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God to mankind, received by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our life by faith.
