About Calvary Chapel Asheville
OUR VISIONGod's vision is to win, build, and send. To win people over to the Lord through the sharing of the gospel message. To make disciples of them by building them up in the teaching of the word. For they are not born disciples they must be made disciples. They are then to follow the Lord's command and go share the gospel and make disciples. Through the studying of the word we learn to love God and love each other.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matt 28:20
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Tim 3:16-17

CALVARY CAFE
We could use three or four assistants to serve coffee and snacks every Sunday morning. Anyone gifted in hospitality is welcome to help in keeping the cafe clean, stocked, making coffee and tea, arranging snack displays, and clean-up and prep for the next service.
USHERS
There are several openings for men who would like to serve in Ushering. An Usher would be on hand to help seat people when seating is scarce, passing the communion plates, handing out literature or Bibles during a service, helping with set-up and take down of chairs during events, handling security issues when they arise, helping with light switching when needed, climate control, etc.
GREETERS
Smiling faces and welcoming hearts are desired to help greet attendees. Greeters would need to arrive early and stay at the doors to welcome, hand out bulletins, provide information about children’s classes and other concerns, handle sign-up sheets, etc.

We could use many servants – women especially – who would be willing to be called upon to help with meals and events. Preparing attractive table settings and helping with plans for potluck events, showers, funeral dinners, and other events. Individuals who would be willing to coordinate and/or provide meals for those who are sick or in need. Hosts willing to open their homes to special guests – such as visiting speakers or missionaries for overnight stays.
