True Light Alliance Church of New York is a multigenerational church that exists to help people find and follow God. We seek to provide a safe place for people of all walks of life to experience true life-change through authentic, biblical community with God. Regardless of your story, your doubts, or your struggles,you are welcome at True Light Alliance Church of New York in Flushing, New York. So come as you are. We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, and through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a distinct experience from salvation, believers are empowered for Christian service, and gifted for this service.

We believe that sin, both what we have done and what we have failed to do - the Bible calls it "missing the mark" - describes the reality that things are not as they should be. We are self-obsessed, broken, fearful, and oppressive. We all see the problems in this world, and those of us who are humble enough to admit it realize that we've all played some role in contributing to the problems we see. Sin, its guilt, and its consequences are what Jesus came to save us from.

About Salvation: We believe that salvation (eternal life in heaven) comes by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ (his death on the cross). (Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:8-11; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

About Salvation: We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God; that it was purchased by Christ on the cross; that it is received through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual; and that salvation results in righteous living, good works and biblically informed actions to bring about godly justice wherever we live.
