About Geneva Christian Fellowship

  • We are a fellowship of Christians located in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Our desire is to grow in our relationship with God through the knowledge of His grace and truth, to grow in our relationships with one another, and to let the world know of God's love for them and His plan for their lives. Following the church model in Acts 2:42, we continue steadfastly in teaching, fellowship, communion, and prayer.

    We Believe:
the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

    We Believe:
that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    We Believe:
in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.

    We Believe:
that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.

    We Believe:
in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.

    We Believe:
in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

    We Believe:
it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water Baptism and the regular taking of Communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.

Children and Youth Activities

  • Kids Club

Saturday Morning Cub is a outreach to the children at the Courtyard Apartments. we spend a few hours a month ministering the them through Bible teaching, song, crafts and a whole lot more. We have had opportunities to minister to their families as well as we share the love of Jesus. We meet once a month on the third Saturday (see our Calendar).

Please pray for this ministry as the enemy works hard to defeat the works of God here. If you would like to be involved please contact Kathy Seeber for more information.

    Street Witnessing

We hit the streets of downtown Geneva every other Friday night, starting out at Bi-Centenial Park (corner of Exchange & Lake Streets) at 7:30 pm. From there we pass out tracts, pray, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all who are willing to listen and hear.

If you are interested in joining us, see our calendar for the next upcoming date. For more info about getting involved, please get in touch with Bruce Borsa.

    Nursing Home Visitation

We minister at the Geneva Living Center Nursing Home on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.

First Saturday: Geneva Living Center, South Building
Third Saturday: Geneva Living Center, North Building

Each visit starts at 2:30 pm, and we are usually there for about an hour. See our calendar for specific dates. With each visit, we sing hymns, give a devotional Gospel teaching from the Word of God, and pray and visit with the residents.

Most of the residents are near the end of their lives on this earth, and some still have never heard the true Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ! Yet the Lord is willing to offer them grace and salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. We've seen some who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior and it is truly an awesome thing to see and rejoice over!! It's a blessing and privilege to be able to minster to many who have been forgotten by the 'busy-ness' of the world around us.James tells us that 'pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.'

This is a great opportunity to 'practice our faith' as we visit and love these folks who still have much love to give in return!
