About Christ the King Episcopal Church

We are blessed with an active, welcoming congregation that seeks to embody God’s love in Jesus Christ through our worship and prayer, community relationships, and justice-oriented outreach. The church is located in Stone Ridge, New York, in the Mid-Hudson Valley, about a two-hour drive from New York City.

All are welcome in the Episcopal Church, and at CTK and we really do mean all! Our membership and leadership is comprised of young and old; long-time member and newcomers; all varieties of religious background; married, partnered and single; the full LGBTQIA+ spectrum; rich and poor; those who have lived here for generations and those who have recently moved here. We represent and celebrate the wonderful diversity that makes the Mid-Hudson Valley what it is, and we seek to do that in faithfulness to the baptismal promise to respect the dignity of every human being.

Looking for a faith community can be intimidating, and many of us carry discomfort and even trauma around our experiences with religion. Know that you are safe here, in good company, and know that no matter who you are, or where you are on your spiritual journey, there is a place for you at God’s table, and at CTK.
