Our goal is to be an authentic community of believers who are learning to love Jesus and love others more and more each day. Come as you are - Calvary United Methodist Church is a friendly and informal church. There's no need to dress up, unless it makes you feel more comfortable.
We believe that, on the cross Jesus canceled sin, propitiated God, and, by bearing the full penalty of our sins, reconciled to God all those who believe. By his resurrection Christ Jesus was vindicated by his Father, broke the power of death and defeated Satan who once had power over it, and brought everlasting life to all his people; by his ascension he has been forever exalted as Lord and has prepared a place for us to be with him.
About One God: We believe in one God who exists as a Trinity. He is infinite, invisible, omnipotent, omniscient, unchanging, sovereign, and holy. He is eternal, without beginning or end. He is the source and sustainer of all that exists. We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
About Love: God is love. He loves us and wants for us to spend eternity with Him. He also wants for us to express His love to others by meeting them where they are in life with the message of salvation.
