About Trinity Episcopal Church
-
Our Vision:
To show Christ’s love in our lives through worship, discipleship, and service.
Our Mission:
As the body of Christ, the Congregation of Trinity Episcopal is individually and corporately called to live a life of faith in Jesus Christ through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We will reach out in love—educating, baptizing, and equipping all members for ministry. We will use the gifts, talents, and resources of Trinity Church to implement in every way possible the Baptismal Covenant as stated in the Book of Common Prayer.
Join us for worship at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Stay and enjoy fellowship, coffee, and energy for your journey. You can expect to enter a unique and graceful church, built in 1902, filled with friendly people. Trinity provides an oasis of faith in a world filled with cacaphony.
Come as you are on your way to or from any activity in the Madison Valley of Southwest Montana whether it’s golfing, fishing, hunting, snow-mobiling, hiking, photo-shooting, floating the Madision River, cruising art galleries, bird-watching or on your way to Virginia City, Yellowstone, Teton, or Glacier Park.
Every Sunday we worship the Episcopal Liturgy. The word liturgy comes from the ancient Greek word leitourgia or “work of the people.” As a “liturgical church,” Trinity congregation participates in worship such as reading, singing, listening and responding to the invocations, exhortations and prayers.
Trinity Church is now re-modeled with a new foundation, siding, roofing, and landscaping for the fall of 2015. Remaining upgrades include new siding and roofing for our Parish Hall. And, fund-raising continues that will payoff our long-term debt and ensure Trinity Episcopal Church is a viable place of serenity into the 22nd Century.
