About Montier Church of God of Prophecy

Many of you who are visiting this page already know Jesus, and are familiar with the precepts of Christianity. If, however, the language of formal "doctrinal creeds" seems a bit strange or foreign to you, please be reassured - your uncertainty, doubt and skepticism are openly received here at Montier Church of God of Prophecy in Birch Tree, Missouri. We believe that Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation.

About Pentecost: We believe that since the Day of Pentecost this worldwide body consists of local, autonomous congregations of baptized believers. This local assembly is bound by the faith and fellowship of the gospel and observes the two ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper as given by Christ.
