About First Free Methodist Church of Muskegon

Why Is This Church Here?
All of us reach intersections in our lives − places where we are faced with multiple opportunities knowing that one decision could make the difference for eternity. This spot is known as a "crossroad" in life. Too many of us, however, find ourselves facing these crossroads alone, forced to make life-changing decisions on our own. Don't make those decisions alone.
This is why CROSSROADS is the most ideal metaphor for our faith community. An intersection always invites us to slow down and check for landmarks. Where are we going? What’s up ahead? What did we just pass? Should we turn? Which way? Are there strangers like us who may need directions? Or repairs?
We are your friends, neighbors, and co-workers in the metropolitan Muskegon area. We invite you to come where we get refreshed with the love and power of God.
We have been ministering in Muskegon since 1918. Our present church building was completed in 1965. The sanctuary seats 200. Our new multi-purpose building was completed in 1998 and has classrooms from nursery through all grades and adults. It features a fellowship hall which also serves as a gymnasium and auditorium.
At the Free Methodist Church, we are convinced that people aren’t just looking for religion, they are looking for Jesus. And the good news is, He wants to be found!
