About Everett Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist Church

Warm Christian greetings to you, and welcome to Everett Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist Church in Everett, Massachusetts. Everett Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist Church is a place where God is saving, healing and delivering souls from the bondage of sin. In a day and age when the Word of God is being watered-down, it is good to know that there are people reaching out to the world with Life Transforming Truth. Changing hearts and lives through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and the direction of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

At Everett Portuguese Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe that God's justifying grace must not be separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. God commands us to love Him supremely and others sacrificially, and to live out our faith with care for one another, compassion toward the poor and justice for the oppressed. With God's Word, the Spirit's power, and fervent prayer in Christ's name, we are to combat the spiritual forces of evil. In obedience to Christ's commission, we are to make disciples among all people, always bearing witness to the gospel in word and deed.

About The Church: The Church is the Body of Christ, the Family of God, the Bride of Christ, a habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, given the assignment of fulfilling the Great Commission by Jesus, who is the Head of the Church. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the Church and becomes part of the Body of Christ.

About Tenacity: Never give up - A river cuts through rock, not because of its power but because of its perseverance. 'Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus... who for the joy set before him endured the cross... so you will not grow weary and lose heart' - Hebrews 12:1-3
