About Church in the Acres

Warm Christian greetings to you, and welcome to Church in the Acres in Springfield, Massachusetts. Church in the Acres is a place where God is saving, healing and delivering souls from the bondage of sin. In a day and age when the Word of God is being watered-down, it is good to know that there are people reaching out to the world with Life Transforming Truth. Changing hearts and lives through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and the direction of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We believe that those who are redeemed and come to saving faith will never lose their salvation but will remain in Him. Believers may fall into sin through neglect, spiritual weakness, and temptation, whereby they grieve the Holy Spirit, degrade their graces and joys, and bring reproach on the cause of Christ and temporal judgments on themselves. Even so, they will be kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, sanctified by His spirit, and will never fall away from the state of grace but will endure to the end. They will never fall fully and completely because God, by His grace, preserves them. The intercession of Christ for those God has called is efficacious unto eternity.
About Full Salvation: We believe in a three-fold salvation, body, soul and spirit through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and His redeeming Blood. By the finished work of Christ on the Cross, we are delivered from the curse and given eternal life, which provides the Christian forgiveness of sins and healing in the body.
About Love: God is love. He loves us and wants for us to spend eternity with Him. He also wants for us to express His love to others by meeting them where they are in life with the message of salvation.
