About All Saints' Episcopal Church
-
All Saints Episcopal Church in West Newbury Massachusetts. We are a community of Episcopalians who have worshiped in our beautiful little village church for about a 100 years.
We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, the Episcopal Church USA, and the International Anglican Communion. We consider ourselves to be the "via media," the middle way, between Catholicism and Protestantism, and we are grateful to enjoy the best of both traditions.
As Episcopalians we believe in God's unconditional love for all as it is revealed in Jesus Christ and empowered in every time and place by God's Holy Spirit. We seek to live the gospel by worshiping God in beautiful liturgy, by loving one another in generous self-giving, and by reaching out to the world around us ... both locally and globally ... in genuine heart-felt compassion that leaves no one beyond our hearts, hands, and prayers.
We believe that God is love, and that God's love includes all and excludes none. We do our very best ... with God's help ... to love and welcome all people, even as we believe all people are loved and welcomed by God in Jesus Christ.
Our church is the house of God, our altar is the table of Christ, and all are welcome.
