Warm Christian greetings to you, and welcome to Washington Metropolitan Oromo Seventh-day Adventist Co in Takoma Park, Maryland. Washington Metropolitan Oromo Seventh-day Adventist Co is a place where God is saving, healing and delivering souls from the bondage of sin. In a day and age when the Word of God is being watered-down, it is good to know that there are people reaching out to the world with Life Transforming Truth. Changing hearts and lives through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and the direction of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
About Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God to mankind, received by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our life by faith.
About The Ministry: A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the fourfold purpose of leading the Church in: Evangelization of the world.
