We are a vibrant, community service, mission, and music oriented parish with a great deal of colorful history. If you are in New Orleans, please come and visit our 10:00 service on Sunday or simply stop by and visit with us or see our beautiful stained glass windows.
Our mission is:
To receive and share God's grace in all actions of our daily lives through worship, community, descipleship, and prayer.
Our vision:
St. Paul's is a Spirit-filled people renewing, empowering, and transforming lives within and beyond our community.
The "Ascension Window": St. Paul's features many gorgeous panels of stained glass. Our most famous is the "Ascension Window". 29 feet high and 16 1/2 feet across, it was installed and then dedicated on March 16, 1903. Made by Mayer and Company of Munich, Germany, the window was a gift of Edith Stone Baker in memory of her mother, Mary Lynch Adams Stone. Here is the history of this window and here are photographs of it and our other windows.
