About Household of Faith
-
Household of Faith (formerly Faith Tabernacle Church) was founded by Ed Bledsoe on November 22, 1971, at the old Monterrey Church located at Gold Place.
This group numbered about 35 or 40 people, besides children. After four months in a house, they moved into a brick structure that has now been torn down and turned into the school office.
In November of 1974, they moved into the second sanctuary for worship and in the fall of 1977 broke ground for the second phase of the building. In 1985, the church moved into its present sanctuary that seats 1,200 people.
Pastor Scott Bledsoe became pastor of Household of Faith in December of 1997. Many who have been hungry for more of God’s Spirit and His Word have come from various denominational backgrounds to seek and to find Christ their Savior, their deliverer and their healer. We pray that you would find your place, promise, and purpose here at Household of Faith!
