About St. Alban's Episcopal Church



St. Alban the Martyr Episcopal Church (St. Alban's) is a congregation under the leadership of both locals and the Diocese of Lexington led by our Bishop Douglas Hahn.The Rev. Dr. Keila Carpenter Thomas is our Vicar. The Episcopal Church welcomes any person regardless of gender, race, or lifestyle. We are a very strong community built on love and tolerance; the Episcopal Church has a long history of being progressive. We ordain women; our communion is open to any baptized Christian, and we have a liturgy that is very beautiful. We welcome BOTH liberal and conservative viewpoints. We are a community of Christians who encourage and worship with each other despite the fact that we all may not agree on everything.
If you're a college student, professor, visitor, local or anyone looking for a church home, we'd love to have you. We hold many events oriented to students of Morehead State University (and we're really close by!) and the whole community. Bring a friend, too- we'd love to have them!
