About Christ the King Parish

Christ the King Parish is a diverse church family. We are a church with a great history, but an even brighter future as we seek to reach out through helping people become disciples of Jesus. We believe that our church is not just a place to go, but a people to join as a community. We welome you to Christ the King Parish in Scottsville, Kentucky in Jesus' name.
We believe that the work of Christ on the cross for sin warrants and impels a universal offering of the gospel to all persons, so that to every person it may be truly said, "God gave his only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him might not perish but have eternal life." Those whom God calls will hear His voice and follow Him. Whoever comes by the drawing of God through the invoking of the Holy Spirit Jesus Christ will not cast out
About Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, Light from Light, God from God. He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life. He was crucified as an atonement for sin and He bodily rose again on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of the Father where He reigns over all. He will bodily and visibly come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
About God's Solution: We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
