About Saint John Vianney

St. John Vianney Catholic Church is located in Fishers, Indiana just North of Olio Road just off Southeastern Parkway.

Our History

July 2005: Bishop William Higi assigned Fr. Brian Dudzinski with investigating the possibility of starting a new church in Fishers, Indiana.

September 2005: The first Sunday Masses were celebrated in the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Durle and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Atherton.

December 24, 2005: We celebrated our first Mass, the Christmas Eve Vigil, in our temporary church home (in an office building located at 14500 E. 136th street, Fishers, Indiana).

2006-2008: The church laid a spiritual foundation with Mass, Adoration, Confession, and various devotions. The day to day life of the parish grew with the individual ministries / apostolates.

2007: Money was raised to put together a master plan for the future of St. John Vianney. This plan was accomplished through the contribution of our building committee, parish town hall meetings, the diocese, and our architectural teams.

April 19, 2008: St. John Vianney parish held a spring gala at the Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel, to unveil the master plan and rendering of the proposed church and campus.

November 21, 2009: Money previously raised was used to build our current building (Youth Center Building) on our property and we celebrated our first Mass.

November 2012: Money previously raised was used to build the parish rectory.
