About Ovid Community Church

Welcome
You're already part of the family
We believe everyone can find their place at Ovid Community Church(OCC). We understand that exploring Jesus or visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating and uncomfortable experience. Ovid Community Church has a rich history of helping people just like you come to know Jesus.
What To Expect When You Visit
We understand many thoughts come from visiting a new church. What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? So we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. We will try to answer a few of the most common questions below. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit the Information Desk in our atrium when you visit.
Parking
Our Parking surrounds the building. Those with children often park in the rear of the building. The entrance under the portico leads right into our children's wing. The Main entrance is through the Atrium. You will find easy access to the auditorium as well as the gym from there. We have greeters at all entrances, so please feel free to just ask for directions. We love meeting new people.
When are services?
We have 2 services on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Our music focuses our hearts. It is eclectic and inspirational. Our teaching time is designed to produce thirst through the examination of the Bible. We utilize media, and drama to enhance our connection with the teaching.
Connection classes also meet 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. that cover a variety of topics. They are ideal for those who long to go deeper in their understanding of the foundations of their relationship with Christ.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine, too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
We're glad you're here.
