  • WE ARE AN URBAN CHURCH LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF EVANSVILLE, INDIANA. WE ARE "PENTECOSTAL" BY EXPERIENCE, "EVANGELISTIC" BY CHARACTER. WE ARE A CULTURALLY MIXED CONGREGATION.

    YOU WILL FIND THAT WE ARE A SMALLER, BUT GROWING CONGREGATION - THAT HAS NEVER CONSIDERED "SMALLNESS" TO BE A HINDERANCE, BUT AN OPPORTUNITY TO MINISTER TO INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. OUR CHURCH IS AN ESTABLISHED (BUT EXCITING), CULTURALLY DIVERSE, SPIRIT-FILLED MINISTRY THAT IS RESPECTED FOR IT'S OUTREACH TO THE BRUISED AND THE HURTING. WE ARE ENTHUSIASTIC AND EVANGELISTIC. LOVE IS OUR MOTIVATION AND WE BELIEVE THAT THE CHURCH IS BASED ON GOD'S LOVE - GOD SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WE MAY BE SAVED. THIS AGAPE' LOVE IS OUR GREATEST ASSET.

    WE BELIEVE THAT ANYONE WHO IS BORN-AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN. WE KNOW THAT WE ARE DRAWN TO SALVATION BY THE SPIRIT, AND MUST BE LED BY THE SPIRIT. AS CHRISTIANS, WHO ARE HUNGERING AFTER GOD, WE ALSO BELIEVE IN THE INFILLING AND THE OVERFLOWING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - AS EXPRESSED IN THE BOOK OF ACTS.

    WE BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN BY HOLY MEN, WHO WERE INSPIRED OF GOD. IT IS THE BASIS FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING, AND WE ARE TRANSFORMED BY THE WORD OF GOD AND HIS INDWELLING SPIRIT.

    Our preschool and daycare program is designed to give your child the richest early childhood educational experience possible. Offering preschool during the morning hours and day care during the afternoon, your child will benefit from a quality Christian preschool education that will provide him/her the confidence and skills he/she will need for successful entry into the structure of public or parochial school environment.

    First and foremost - we are a Christian ministry: By the inspiration of the Lord, our ministry began serving the parents and children of the Evansville-Newburgh area in 1983. Through songs, stories, and prayer, we teach your child of God's love and care - and your child will be taught the principles of the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. He/She will learn the Biblical truths taught through the stories of Creation, Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark, Daniel and the Lion's Den - as well as the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Your child will hear how God loved the world so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus - so that those who believe on Him will live forever.

    Using The ABeka Book curriculum, our preschool classes incorporate both hands on and oral learning activities designed to develop language skills, mathematic reasoning, sensory perception, art/creative expression as well as music appreciation.

    Early preschool (Ages 2-3) curriculum includes:

    Matching and identifying colors and shapes
    Reciting ABCs
    Identifying upper case letters
    Phonics association - (B is for bear, C is for cat, etc.)
    Counting and Number recognition
    Coloring, gluing, finger painting, etc.

    Pre-kindergarten curriculum includes all of the above plus:

    Phonics based reading readiness*
    Number and letter printing and formation
    Counting and Number concepts
    Science and Nature projects

    *By the end of the Pre-kindergarten year, many of our children will be blending and sounding out simple words, well on their way to reading.

    Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Mon. - Fri.

    Nutritious Hot Meals

    Experienced Christian Staff - all CPR/First Aid certified

    State Registered Child Care Ministry

    Rates ranging from $48.00 to $95.00 per week depending on the child's age and schedule needed.
