At New Hope, we know that walking into a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. We really strive to be a church that meets people where they are, whether you've been following Jesus for many years or are just starting to investigate faith. Our hope is that you will discover New Hope in Girard, Illinois to be a place where you can find community, grow in your relationship with Jesus and discover the mission for your life.
We believe that spiritual practices like prayer, reading the Bible, participating in weekly Connect Groups, and tithing are vital to our faith. We encourage each other in this things. We believe that this faith community is a movement and will continue to plant new sites to serve diverse neighborhoods in Girard, Illinois. Don't stop. Never stop.
About God's Word: We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit inspired the original writings of Scripture and that the original writings are without error.
About The Ministry: A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the fourfold purpose of leading the Church in: Evangelization of the world.
