Service Times

Our typical Sunday at GMMBC begins with Church School at 9:00a.m. We have a variety of Christian Education courses that span all interest and generations. Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m., with our Praise and Worship Music Ministry, followed by a spirit enhanced worship service designed to give God all the praise, honor, and glory through singing, prayer, testimonies, the SPOKEN WORD, an invitation to discipleship. This provides congregants an opportunity to exhibit the utilization of their spiritual gifts as they serve one another and our visitors through a variety of ministry’s.

On the first Sunday of each month we obediently follow the ordinance of the church regarding the partaking of the Lord’s Supper to all baptized members of the body of Christ, followed by the Right Hand of Fellowship for all new members. On the second and third Sunday’s of the month we also dutifully carry out the ordinance of baptism for new members that have no Christian experience.

About Greater Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church

Welcome Visitors

Oh what a wonderful and never ending pleasure it is to welcome brothers and sisters to our faith community, where we are a “will do church” for a “can do people”. We pray that God will keep you uplifted and in the presence of the Holy Spirit and that He will direct your path to our humble faith community so that we might fellowship in the word of Christ with unity and love for one another.

Pastor Michael Runnels

What We Believe

We believe that Jesus Christ gave the church its purpose in Matthew 28:19-20, “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Therefore, our purpose is to lead people to a life of faith in Christ and empower them to grow into everything that God created them to be.

Our Statement of Essential Beliefs
• In Essential Beliefs - we believe that there should be unity. Ephesians 4:4-6
• In Non-Essential Beliefs - we believe there should be liberty. Romans 14:1,4,12
• In All Our Beliefs - we believe that we must maintain love toward each other. I Corinthians 13:2
