About Central Baptist Church

Our Purpose

Central Baptist exists as a church to love God, love people, and serve the world.

We love God by placing a priority on public worship and spending intentional time with God on a daily basis. Our worship services at the Springfield Campus are Sundays 8:30 and 11 AM. Worship services at the New Berlin Campus are Sundays at 10:30 AM.

We love people by building redemptive relationships in group Bible study and with our neighbors. These Bible studies include small groups of 8 to 10 people who meet once a week in homes and Sunday School classes on Sunday mornings.

We serve the world in Christ’s name by meeting the needs of people in our church, neighborhood and world. We work together as the larger church group to give food to the food pantries, school supplies to local families in need, and special financial offerings in support of international missionaries.

We believe God planted Central Baptist Church in Springfield and New Berlin for the benefit of our cities. Because He loves, we love. Because He gives, we give. We are on mission to invest time, energy, prayer, resources, and love into our communities to make Springfield and New Berlin all they can be – for the glory of God and the good of humanity. It is our hope and prayer that as we do this, Jesus’ love will be seen and people will come into a relationship with Him.
