We are a non-denominational church in Boise / Garden City located on the corner of Chinden and Glenwood right across from the Idaho Fair Grounds.

True North was planted back in November 2004 by Pastor Jason Herring and his family. We have the excitement of a new church plant and the stability of a congregation that has been seasoned by nearly a decade of ministry. Our journey has been interesting and often a trial by fire. In 2009, Pastor Jason and Suzie lost their four year old son Josiah Lee to brain cancer. Their family and the church have been dramatically impacted by that event. With so many people hurting and wounded, True North can identify with the brokenness in our community.

Every person has two fundamental needs: to know truth and to feel loved. At True North we are committed to loving people and speaking the truth of God’s word. We believe that these fundamental needs are satisfied by Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ embodies Truth and Love (John 14:7; 1 John 4:8). That’s why we go out of our way to introduce people to the Only One who can satisfy the deepest needs in the soul of man. Every single Sunday at True North you can walk away knowing that you were loved and that you heard the truth.
