Cash Donation Deductions: Benefactors wishing to claim cash donation deductions on their itemized tax returns are requested to use envelopes displaying or containing their names, and the cash amounts for each donation. In this way we can provide benefactors with accurate, year-end summaries as required by law.

After Mass Refreshments, etc.:

First Sundays: Each First Sunday, from September through May – in the Chapel Hall – a full brunch will be provided after the 10 AM Mass, put on by volunteers of the Heart of Mary Guild. During summer (May through August), brunch will be limited to coffee and doughnuts – with exceptions for major feast days and visiting priests. These meals rely on your generous donations and need to cover, at a minimum, the cost of the prepared food. All donations are used to cover the cost of the food prepared by volunteers of the Heart of Mary Guild. Any extra funds are used for items needed for the hall.
Other Sundays: The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays will be limited to coffee and doughnuts. To be able to continue to offer coffee and doughnuts, your generous donations are appreciated and needed! Feel free to bring baked goods, fruit, meat and cheese trays or other lighter fare for these Sundays, as well.
If you feel you or your children need additional nourishment to make it through Catechism, please pack whatever lunch you feel is needed.

Second Collections – Monthly:

2nd Sunday: Priory
3rd Sunday: Building Fund

Lost and Found: The Chapel lost and found box is in the chapel hall, on a shelf in the chapel library area. If you are missing something, look there, first. Also, it is strongly suggested that you put your name in your missal! Items found during church cleaning will be deposited in the lost and found box.

Bulletin: If you would like to receive periodic bulletins and announcements in your inbox, please add your name to our distribution list here: https://OurLadyofGuadalupenewplymouth.flocknote.com.

About Our Lady of Guadalupe

At Our Lady of Guadalupe, New Plymouth in Idaho, there is Good News, There really is - Praise God! The Good News is that Christ saves sinners. God - being rich in mercy and compassion - chooses to make sinners alive through faith in His Son, Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:4-5) God does so by transferring the sins and guilt of believers to God's own account, in the person of Jesus Christ. And God simultaneously assigns to believers the Righteousness of that same Jesus. By virtue of this eternally profound two-way exchange, God has declared Himself willing to look upon sinners who possess faith in Jesus as if God were looking instead at the righteous obedience and selfless sacrificial death of His Son. (Isaiah 53: 5-6; 1 John 4:10)

We believe that, by the Spirit's agency, believers are renewed, sanctified, and adopted into God's family; they participate in the divine nature and receive his sovereignly distributed gifts. The Holy Spirit is himself the down payment of the promised inheritance, and in this age indwells, guides, instructs, equips, revives, and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.

About Mankind: We believe that mankind was originally created good but fell into a state of sin through disobedience. We inherit a sinful nature from Adam and we commit individual sins. This sin separates us from God and makes it impossible for us to earn salvation by works.

About God's Solution: We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
