About Good Shepherd Episcopal Church
-
Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on Maui is a multi-cultural parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii. Please join us for The Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 7:00 am and 9:00 am (with music) and Saturdays at 5:00 pm. Also, join us for Sunday School at 8:45 am.
At the invitation of Hawaii Alii, King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, we have worshipped at the corner of Church and Main Streets in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii since our founding days.
We are a diverse Christian ohana (family) comprised of many races including Caucasians, Chinese, Filipinos, Hawaiians, Hispanics, Japanese, and a sprinkling of others. We have found our unity in the waters of baptism and in sharing at the table that the Lord spreads before us each week.
Good Shepherd is recognized as a Jubilee Ministry by the National Episcopal Church. Our community outreach programs include feeding the hungry every Sunday through its Ka Ohana Kitchen; the Queen Emma Athletic club; its Filipino folk dance troupe; and leading a new island-wide outreach program focusing on Maui's homeless called "A Cup of Cold Water."
