About Calvary Community Church
- Calvary Community Church Kona is all about bringing ‘OHANA (family) together. Not just a group of people or an organization, we're all about making meaningful relationships that help us grow and share life together in God - no matter what our status or background. Our 15 acre property is located on land Hawaiians named Holua-loa. The simple translation is a long holua path or Hawaiian sled path. For generations, Hawaiians have used this path to connect families living on the mountainside to families living on the seashore. It is our greatest joy to continue this tradition and join ‘ohana of every race in fellowship with God through His son, Jesus Christ.
